Ashoka-cut diamonds on a skeleton movement
The Jacob & Co. Billionaire Ashoka, reference BL121.30.BD.UF.A30BD, in an 18-carat white gold case, 53 x 40 mm and 12 mm high. Case, hour markers and bracelet are set with white diamonds, 302 in all (189.13 ct), and the bracelet is 18-carat white gold with a folding clasp.
Jacob & Co. describes the Ashoka as a cut created by William Goldberg, rectangular with rounded corners and 62 facets. Here it is used on the case and bracelet. The skeleton movement has thin white gold bridges, and 11 baguette-cut diamond hour markers surround it.
Hand-wound calibre JCAM23 was developed for the Billionaire collection. It has 167 components, a 72-hour power reserve and a one-minute tourbillon, and Jacob & Co. says the tourbillon is aligned vertically with a large barrel. This version is a pièce unique.
