A garden that turns every 10 minutes
The Jacob & Co. Fleurs de Jardin, reference AF921.30.BD.AA.A, in an 18-carat white gold and baguette diamond case, 42.5 mm across and 21 mm high. Its dial is white gold PVD titanium and mother-of-pearl, on a white alligator or satin strap with an 18-carat white gold clasp.
A vertical platform rises from the mother-of-pearl base dial and turns once every 10 minutes. It carries a flying tourbillon in a butterfly-shaped carriage, the hour and minute dial and flowers. On the base dial, more flowers turn counterclockwise in the same 10 minutes.
Hand-wound calibre JCAM31 has 444 components and a 48-hour power reserve. The tourbillon turns once in 60 seconds on its satellite arm, and the platform’s 10-minute turn gives it a second axis. A differential turns the hour and minute dial against the platform at the same speed, so it stays upright and readable. This version is limited to 36 pieces.
