The Jacob & Co. Fleurs de Jardin, reference AF321.40.BB.AC.B, in an 18-carat rose gold case with a single-block sapphire caseband, 42.5 mm across and 21 mm high. Its dial is rose gold PVD titanium and mother-of-pearl, on a white alligator leather strap with an 18-carat rose gold butterfly-shaped deployant clasp. This version is limited to 101 pieces.
Icy blue sapphires are set in the case, inner rings and clasp, while the central flower keeps its tsavorite and 12 kite-cut rubies.
A vertical platform rises from the mother-of-pearl base dial and turns once every 10 minutes. It carries gem-set flowers, a flying tourbillon in a butterfly-shaped carriage and the hour and minute dial. On the base dial, more flowers turn counterclockwise in the same 10 minutes.
Hand-wound calibre JCAM31 has 444 components and a 48-hour power reserve. The tourbillon turns once in 60 seconds on its satellite arm, and the platform’s 10-minute turn gives it a second axis. A differential turns the hour and minute dial against the platform at the same speed, so it stays upright and readable.
