The Tortue chronograph in a 43.7 x 34.8 mm platinum case
The Cartier Privé Tortue, reference WHTO0008, in a 950/1000 platinum case, 43.7 x 34.8 mm and 10.2 mm thick, with a silvered opaline dial. Manually wound calibre 1928 MC with a single-button chronograph, on a semi-matte burgundy red alligator leather strap with a second grey alligator strap. Cartier limits this version to 200 numbered pieces.
This is the Cartier Privé Tortue. It has an open case back and rhodiumised Roman numeral hour markers, and it comes with a second strap in shiny grey alligator leather that is interchangeable with the first.
This Tortue is a single-button chronograph with a silvered opaline dial and two snailed counters. Small seconds sit at 9 o'clock and chronograph minutes at 3 o'clock, with blued-steel apple-shaped hands.
The movement is the manually wound calibre 1928 MC. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of approximately 44 hours.
