The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon, reference 26643TI.OO.D002CA.01, in titanium, 38.5 mm across, a limited edition made in collaboration with the artists Yoon and Verbal. Hand-wound Calibre 2982, with a flying tourbillon, hours and minutes.
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon, reference 26643TI.OO.D002CA.01, is cased in titanium, 38.5 mm across and 11.4 mm high, with a glareproofed sapphire crystal and caseback and a black ceramic crown set with a titanium chip. Water resistance is rated to 20 m. The dial is partly openworked black aventurine, with blackened 18-carat white gold hands filled with grey luminescent material and a black inner bezel. The strap is black rubber with a "micro-mosaic" pattern and a quilted inner imprint, on a titanium AP folding clasp; an additional red rubber strap in the same pattern is included, with a matching grey variation available on demand.
The movement is Calibre 2982, a hand-wound flying tourbillon giving hours and minutes, developed for this collaboration on the technical basis of Calibre 2964, an earlier hand-wound flying tourbillon movement, as Audemars Piguet states. It is 29.5 mm across and 6 mm high, built from 212 parts holding 18 jewels, and runs at 3 Hz (21,600 vph) with a power reserve of 72 hours.
