A fully diamond-set Overseas Self-Winding
The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Self-Winding High Jewellery, reference 4617V/215G-H039, in 18K white gold entirely set with diamonds, with a snow-set dial of 314 brilliant-cut diamonds, on the white gold bracelet. Self-winding calibre 1088/1 with date and central seconds; 35 mm, 9.83 mm high, with blue alligator leather and white rubber straps included.
The reference 4617V is Vacheron Constantin's Overseas Self-Winding High Jewellery, entirely set with diamonds, which the brand frames as pairing its high-jewellery work with the Overseas' fine watchmaking. The case measures 35 mm across and 9.83 mm high, water-resistant to 50 m, with a transparent sapphire case back and an antimagnetic marking on it. The dial uses a snow-setting technique across 314 brilliant-cut diamonds, stated at roughly 1.65 carats, with 12 baguette-cut diamond hour-markers at roughly 0.32 carats; the hour and minute hands are finished in the case metal, picked out in blue SuperLuminova®.
Inside is the self-winding calibre 1088/1 -- 20.8 mm across, 3.83 mm high, 144 parts, 24 jewels -- with hours, minutes, central seconds, a date and a balance-stop function, running at 28,800 V.P.H. (4 Hz) for a stated 40-hour power reserve. The bracelet, closed by its own triple folding clasp in the case metal, can be swapped for an alligator leather strap or a white rubber strap, using a spare Ardillon buckle in the case metal, which Vacheron Constantin states is set with round-cut diamonds.

The interchangeable Ardillon buckle supplied for the two extra straps is itself set with round-cut diamonds, according to Vacheron Constantin.
