Design and engineering
- Carbon TPT® with turquoise Quartz TPT®Layers of silica are inserted between layers of carbon, the fibre orientation changed between each layer, and the stack cured before machining. Machining across the two materials exposes the turquoise and black striations, which differ on every case.
- Skeletonised dialAn inner black ring surrounds the openworked dial, with the standard RM 11-03 layout: 60-minute countdown at 9 o’clock, 12-hour totaliser, oversize date at 12 o’clock and month indicator between 4 and 5 o’clock.
- Titanium pushersThe pushers are titanium, ribbed after racing pedal surfaces.
- MovementSkeletonised automatic winding movement with variable-geometry rotor and a power reserve of circa 55 hours. Sources conflict on the calibre designation: most give RMAC3, while a collector guide and one retailer state that Richard Mille used the original RMAC1 for this closing edition.
- Position in the seriesRichard Mille presented the Ultimate Edition as the last model in the RM 011 range, closing a line that began with the RM 011 Felipe Massa in 2007.
- Case constructionTripartite tonneau case, 49.94 × 44.50 × 16.15 mm, held by grade 5 titanium spline screws, with the grooves and protrusions along the bezel characteristic of the RM 11-03.
