Sapphire case with gem-set bezel and pearl dial
An RM 07-02 in coloured sapphire with a gem-set bezel and a pearl dial centre framed in red gold, on a pale strap.
The case is machined from sections of coloured sapphire taken from a single block and requires almost forty days of machining and finishing. Setting each element of the sapphire case requires a laser operating to the nearest micrometre, with hand-polished gold prongs made separately and inserted to hold the stones.
