Carbon TPT® case with yellow flange, Americas boutique edition
Announced in December 2014, the Yellow Storm puts the RM 011 in a case, crown and pushers of Carbon TPT®, with yellow on the flange and dial furniture and a yellow rubber strap closing on a DLC-treated titanium buckle.
The edition ran to 50 pieces and was sold only through Richard Mille’s boutiques in the United States.

Design and engineering
- Carbon TPT® case, crown and pushersThe case, crown and pushers are composed of more than 600 layers of parallel carbon fibre filaments. The layers are injected with resin and then woven on a machine that manipulates the direction of the weft, and the machining across the layers produces the grain-like surface characteristic of the material.
- Yellow flange and detailingThe flange carrying the tachymetric scale and the dial furniture are executed in yellow against the black composite case.
- Calibre RMAC1Skeletonised automatic winding movement with adjustable rotor geometry, flyback chronograph, 60-minute countdown timer, 12-hour totaliser, annual calendar and oversize date display.
- Strap and buckleYellow rubber strap with a DLC-treated titanium buckle.
