First Richard Mille ladies’ reference
Released in 2005, the RM 007 was Richard Mille’s first watch designed for women, using an elongated tonneau case shaped to sit close to the wrist. It launched in a full diamond-set execution.
The calibre uses a bi-directional winding rotor with a segment of sandblasted 18-carat gold containing more than one hundred 18-carat gold micro-balls within a transparent PVD-coated container. The balls move between the two sides of the chamber through a connecting passage, damping energy spikes transmitted through the winding system under shock. This example carries 650 diamonds weighing over 4.845 carats, with a semi-skeletonised dial inlaid with black onyx.
