The Odysseus Chronograph in a 42.5 mm case
The A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus Chronograph, reference 463.178, in a stainless steel case, 42.5 mm across and 14.2 mm high, with a black dial. Self-winding calibre L156.1 with outsize date, chronograph and day-of-week display, on a steel bracelet.
Lange calls this the manufacture’s first chronograph with a self-winding movement. The dial is black with red accents. Lange limits this version to 100 pieces.
The movement is calibre L156.1, self-winding, with 516 parts, a reserve of 50 hours and a balance beating at 28,800 semi-oscillations an hour (4.0 Hz). Lange lists three functions: the outsize date, the chronograph and the day-of-week display. The case is 42.5 mm across and 14.2 mm high, water resistant to 12 bar, with a sapphire glass case back.
