The Triple Split in a 43.2 mm case
The A. Lange & Söhne Triple Split, reference 424.037F, in an 18-carat pink gold case, 43.2 mm across and 15.6 mm high, with a blue/rhodié dial. Manually wound calibre L132.1 with power-reserve indicator and chronograph, on a dark blue alligator leather strap with a pink gold deployant buckle.
A. Lange & Söhne no longer makes this reference. This version has a blue/rhodié dial, made of 925 silver, and Lange limits it to 100 pieces.
Lange lists the Triple Split with a power-reserve indicator and a chronograph, on one manually wound calibre. Lange’s account is that no other mechanical split-seconds chronograph can compare timed intervals across several hours.
The movement is calibre L132.1, manually wound, with 567 parts and a reserve of 55 hours; the balance beats at 21,600 semi-oscillations an hour (3.0 Hz). The case is 15.6 mm high, water resistant to 3 bar, with a sapphire glass case back. The strap is alligator leather, closed with a deployant buckle in the case metal.
