Overview
The Langematik Perpetual in a 38.5 mm case
The A. Lange & Söhne Langematik Perpetual, reference 310.032 E, in an 18-carat pink gold case, 38.5 mm across and 10.2 mm high, with an argenté dial. Self-winding calibre L922.1 with perpetual calendar, outsize date, day/night indicator, moon-phase display, day-of-week display and ZERO-RESET, on a brown alligator leather strap with a pink gold prong buckle.
Lange says the Langematik Perpetual, launched in 2001, was the first mechanical wristwatch to pair a perpetual calendar with its outsize date. This reference is the pink gold version, with an argenté dial of solid silver.
The movement is calibre L922.1, self-winding, with 478 parts, a reserve of 46 hours and a balance beating at 21,600 semi-oscillations an hour (3.0 Hz). Lange lists the outsize date, day/night indicator, moon-phase display, ZERO-RESET mechanism, day-of-week display and perpetual calendar. The case is 10.2 mm high, water resistant to 3 bar, with a sapphire glass case back. The strap is alligator leather, closed with a prong buckle in the case metal.
