A. Lange & Söhne no longer makes this reference. Lange states that this model was launched in 2001. This version has a blue dial in solid silver and a dark blue alligator leather strap with a white gold prong buckle. Lange limits this version to 50 pieces.
Lange says the Langematik Perpetual was the first mechanical wristwatch to pair a perpetual calendar with its outsize date. The calendar shows the date, the day of the week and the month, and allows for the differing lengths of the months, leap years included.
The movement is calibre L922.1, self-winding, with 478 parts and a reserve of 46 hours; the balance beats at 21,600 semi-oscillations an hour (3.0 Hz). The case is 10.2 mm high, water resistant to 3 bar, with a sapphire glass case back. The strap is alligator leather, closed with a prong buckle in the case metal.
