Overview
The 1815 Annual Calendar in a 40 mm case
The A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Annual Calendar, reference 238.032 E, in an 18-carat pink gold case, 40 mm across and 10.1 mm high, with an argenté dial. Manually wound calibre L051.3 with moon-phase display, day-of-week display, analogue date and annual calendar, on a brown alligator leather strap with a pink gold prong buckle.
The 1815 Annual Calendar shows the date, day of week and month on analogue displays, together with a moon-phase display. Lange describes it as an everyday companion and says the moon-phase display is calculated to stay accurate for 122.6 years.
The movement is calibre L051.3, manually wound, with 345 parts, a reserve of 72 hours and a balance beating at 21,600 semi-oscillations an hour (3.0 Hz). Lange lists the moon-phase display, the day-of-week display, the analogue date and the annual calendar. The case is 10.1 mm high, water resistant to 3 bar, with a sapphire glass case back. The strap is alligator leather, closed with a prong buckle in the case metal.
