A. Lange & Söhne no longer makes this reference. It belongs to Lange's “25th Anniversary” edition, and Lange limits this version to 250 pieces.
Lange calls the Lange 1 the classic of its collection and says its dial layout and outsize date gave the watch industry fresh impetus. This version is in white gold, with an argenté dial.
The movement is calibre L121.1, manually wound, with 368 parts and a reserve of 72 hours; the balance beats at 21,600 semi-oscillations an hour (3.0 Hz). The case is 10.7 mm high, water resistant to 3 bar, with a sapphire glass case back. The strap is alligator leather, closed with a prong buckle in the case metal.
