The Zeitwerk Date in a 44.2 mm case
The A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Date, reference 148.033, in an 18-carat pink gold case, 44.2 mm across and 12.3 mm high, with a grey dial. Manually wound calibre L043.8 with power-reserve indicator, constant-force escapement and ring-date display, on a dark brown alligator leather strap with a pink gold prong buckle.
The Zeitwerk Date adds a ring-date display to the Zeitwerk. Lange says the date switches exactly at midnight. The dial is grey and made of 925 silver.
Calibre L043.8 is manually wound, with 516 parts, a reserve of 72 hours and a balance beating at 18,000 semi-oscillations an hour (2.5 Hz). Lange lists three functions: the power-reserve indicator, a constant-force escapement and the ring-date display. The case is 44.2 mm across and 12.3 mm high, water resistant to 3 bar, with a sapphire glass case back. The strap is alligator leather, closed with a prong buckle in the case metal.
