A. Lange & Söhne no longer makes this reference. Lange describes the dial of this version as black and made of solid silver. The strap is black alligator leather with an 18-carat white gold prong buckle.
Lange says the look of the Grand Lange 1 rests on two things: a balanced dial layout and a slim profile. The reference carries the outsize date and the power-reserve indicator on one manually wound calibre.
The movement is calibre L095.1, manually wound, with 397 parts and a reserve of 72 hours; the balance beats at 21,600 semi-oscillations an hour (3.0 Hz).
