A music box with two melodies
The Godfather II from Jacob & Co., reference OP200.40.AA.AA.C, in an 18-carat rose gold case, 42 x 44 mm and 17 mm high. It has a black lacquered dial with a Don Corleone print, on a black alligator leather strap with an 18-carat rose gold folding clasp. This version is limited to 74 pieces.
Jacob & Co. made this watch under a partnership with Paramount Pictures, as a tribute to The Godfather. The dial is black lacquer with a print of Don Corleone, and the crown has spiral grooves that recall a gun barrel. A rose motif is engraved along the case.
On the caseback, engraved bullet holes refer to the film’s shootouts, and a piano-shaped sapphire opening shows the music box comb under a plate engraved with the score of The Godfather Love Theme. A single crown winds the movement and the music box, each in a different direction.

- DialBlack lacquer with a Don Corleone print and The Godfather appliqué at 12 o’clock. Dauphine hands, curved and faceted, in a rose gold finish.
- Music boxA single cylinder covered with steel pins lifts the blades of the comb. A selector slides the cylinder along, which presents a different set of pins and switches from The Godfather Love Theme to The Godfather’s Waltz. Jacob & Co. says the earlier Godfather pieces used two barrels to play one melody.
- TourbillonA one-minute flying tourbillon, held only from below with no upper bridge and covered by smoked sapphire glass.
- Case18-carat rose gold with a domed sapphire crystal and an 18-carat rose gold and sapphire caseback. Water resistant to 30 m.
