Overview
A skeleton movement in a ceramic case
The Jacob & Co. Epic X Ceramic, reference EX115.95.AL.AA.A, in a case of white ceramic, aluminium and a green anodised crown, 44 mm across and 13.3 mm high. Its bridges are skeletonised with a green PVD finish, and the watch is on a white honeycomb rubber strap with a titanium ardillon buckle.
The inner ring is green PVD, and the skeletonised hands are green PVD with SuperLumiNova tips.
Jacob & Co. launched the Epic X collection in 2016, taking its design from the letter X. Epic X Ceramic joins the openworked bridges of the Skeleton with the smooth case of the Bridges model. Jacob & Co. describes the ceramic as hypoallergenic and very hard to scratch.
Hand-wound calibre JCAM02 has 158 components and a 48-hour power reserve. Two openworked bridges frame a large open space, and the four lugs continue the skeleton movement in their shape, slope and edges.
