Overview
A tourbillon chronograph in rose gold and titanium
The Jacob & Co. Epic X Chrono Tourbillon, reference EC360.42.AB.AA.A, in an 18-carat rose gold and titanium case, 47 mm across and 16.80 mm high. Its dial is tinted grey sapphire, on a black honeycomb rubber strap with an 18-carat rose gold and titanium deployment buckle.
This watch adds a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock to the 47 mm Epic X case. Its lugs and X-shaped bridges follow the collection’s design, and a second crown at 10 o’clock turns the inner ring.
Self-winding calibre JCAA09 is a bi-compax chronograph with a column wheel, 278 components and a 48-hour power reserve. The tourbillon turns once a minute, and its openworked carriage is held only from below, so there is no upper bridge. This version is limited to 15 pieces.

Design and engineering
- ChronographThe 2 o’clock pusher starts and stops the timing and the 4 o’clock pusher resets the hands. Elapsed time reads on the central seconds hand and a 30-minute register at 3 o’clock. The chronograph hands are red.
- Inner ringSatin-finished black anodised aluminium subdial rings, with satin-finished X bars. The 10 o’clock crown turns the inner ring, so it can serve as a 60-minute timer read against the central minute hand, or as a countdown.
- Case18-carat rose gold and titanium with a black ceramic bezel, push-down pushers and screw-down crowns, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a smoked sapphire caseback. Water resistant to 200 m.
