Overview
A Batman tribute with twin tourbillons
The Jacob & Co. Gotham City, reference DC100.21.AB.AC.A, in a black DLC titanium case, 46 mm across and 17.2 mm high. Its bat-shaped onyx dial has a yellow outline, on a black Cordura strap with yellow rubber lining and a black DLC titanium deployant clasp. This version is limited to 36 pieces.
The sword-shaped hands are black.
In 2022 Jacob & Co. worked with Warner Bros and DC Comics on a Batman-themed watch. Its parts refer to Batman’s equipment: the case carries facets in the manner of the Batsuit, the crown carries a rubber band shaped like Batmobile tyres, and the dial echoes the Bat-Signal. The hand shape recalls the Batarang.
Hand-wound calibre JCFM10 has 382 components and a 48-hour power reserve. It carries two flying tourbillons side by side, each held only from below and turning on three axes. Their carriages are shaped like grappling hooks, and a small gauge at 6 o’clock between them shows the energy left.
