Overview
A roulette table in a 44 mm case
The Jacob & Co. Casino Tourbillon, reference CA100.30.AB.BC.A, in an 18-carat white gold case, 44 mm across and 16.30 mm high. Its dial is set with 96 baguette-cut tsavorites (≈3.6 ct) and 12 diamond hour markers (≈0.67 ct), on a green alligator leather strap with an 18-carat white gold deployant clasp.
A working roulette table surrounds the dial, with pockets numbered 1 to 36 and a zero. The pusher at 7 o’clock starts the wheel, which spins on ball bearings until the ball settles in one of its pockets. Jacob & Co. developed the table and describes the complication as exclusive to the brand.
Hand-wound calibre JCAM51 has 268 components and a 72-hour power reserve. Its flying tourbillon turns once in 60 seconds and is seen only from the back. Jacob & Co. says it had not previously fitted a tourbillon without showing it on the dial side. This version is limited to 26 pieces.
