A roulette table in a 44 mm case
The Jacob & Co. Casino Tourbillon, reference CA100.21.AA.AA.A, in a black DLC titanium case, 44 mm across and 16.30 mm high. Its solid, polished black onyx dial has a rhodium index, on a black alligator leather strap with a black DLC titanium clasp.
The case, caseback and clasp are black DLC titanium. The hands are rhodium with white SuperLuminova and red tips.
A working roulette table surrounds the dial, with pockets numbered 1 to 36 and a zero. The pusher at 7 o’clock starts the wheel, which spins on ball bearings until the ball settles in one of its pockets. Jacob & Co. developed the table and describes the complication as exclusive to the brand.
Hand-wound calibre JCAM51 has 268 components and a 72-hour power reserve. Its flying tourbillon turns once in 60 seconds and is seen only from the back. Jacob & Co. says it had not previously fitted a tourbillon without showing it on the dial side. This version is limited to 101 pieces.
