A round case without lugs
The Jacob & Co. Brilliant, reference BQ015.40.RO.KF.A, in an 18-carat rose gold case, 34 mm across and 9.70 mm high. Its white mother-of-pearl dial carries 11 kite-shaped blue sapphires and 45 round diamonds, on a blue alligator strap with an 18-carat rose gold buckle.
The kite-shaped stones on the dial are blue sapphires (≈0.29 ct), and the strap is blue.
Jacob & Co. introduced Brilliant in 2017 as a ladies’ collection. The case is round and has no lugs, so the strap attaches directly to it. Jacob & Co. describes the shape as a pebble and says its rounded edges give the collection its name.
The movement is Swiss quartz and shows hours and minutes. Jacob & Co. describes the work as running from the selection of the gems, through their cutting, to the setting itself. This version is limited to 999 pieces.
