A round case without lugs
The Jacob & Co. Brilliant, reference BQ015.40.RO.AD.A, in an 18-carat rose gold case, 34 mm across and 9.70 mm high. Its pyramidal green lacquer dial carries 12 round white diamonds, on a green alligator strap with an 18-carat rose gold pin buckle.
The dial is pyramidal green lacquer, and the stones are white diamonds throughout: 52 on the case and crown (≈0.68 ct) and 12 on the dial. The clasp is a pin buckle.
Jacob & Co. introduced Brilliant in 2017 as a ladies’ collection. The case is round and has no lugs, so the strap attaches directly to it. Jacob & Co. describes the shape as a pebble and says its rounded edges give the collection its name.
The movement is Swiss quartz and shows hours and minutes. Jacob & Co. describes the work as running from the selection of the gems, through their cutting, to the setting itself. This version is limited to 999 pieces.
