A skeleton movement made to carry diamonds
The Jacob & Co. Billionaire Mini Ashoka, reference BL122.30.BD.BD.A, in an 18-carat white gold case, 45.67 x 35 mm and 12.49 mm high. The case and bracelet are set with white Ashoka-cut diamonds, with 11 baguette-cut diamond hour markers, and the bracelet is 18-carat white gold with a folding clasp.
Calibre JCAM23 was developed to serve the gem-setting. Its bridges are thin and laid out in a geometric pattern that echoes the facets of a diamond. They are made of white gold so they blend with the stones, which leaves the diamonds in front.
Hand-wound calibre JCAM23 has 167 components and a 72-hour power reserve. A one-minute tourbillon sits vertically aligned with a large barrel. The Ashoka cut, created by William Goldberg and derived from the emerald cut, is rectangular with rounded corners. This version is limited to 18 pieces.
