The small Tortue set with diamonds
The Cartier Tortue, reference WJTO0008, in an 18-carat rose gold case, 30 x 24 mm and 7.3 mm thick, with a silvered sunray flinqué dial. Manufacture calibre 1917 MC, on a shiny red alligator skin strap with a rose gold ardillon buckle.
The small Tortue has 57 brilliant-cut diamonds, totalling 0.74 carats, set across the case and the octagonal crown. The dial is silvered with a sunray effect and a flinqué finish, and blued-steel sword-shaped hands show the time.
The movement is the manually wound Manufacture calibre 1917 MC. A mineral crystal covers the dial.
