The medium Santos de Cartier with diamonds on the bezel and case
The Santos de Cartier, reference WJSA0014, in a rhodiumised 18-carat white gold case, 41.9 x 35.1 mm and 8.83 mm thick, with a sunray-effect dial. Manufacture calibre 1847 MC with automatic winding, on a grey alligator skin strap.
Cartier traces the Santos de Cartier to 1904, when Louis Cartier met the wish of the Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont to tell the time while flying. Cartier picks out the dial's rounded angles, the continuous curve of the horns and the visible screws.
This medium model has brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel and the case.
