Cartier sets the case with 54 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 0.79 carats, and the fluted crown carries a sapphire cabochon. The dial is aventurine glass, with a disc that indicates day and night.
Rhodiumised steel sword-shaped hands show the time, and a sapphire crystal covers the dial.
