The Animalière Jewellery watch with a crocodile
The Cartier Animalière Jewellery, reference HPI01787, in a rhodiumised 18-carat white gold case 12.7 mm thick, with a gradated blue enamel motif. Quartz movement, on a dark blue alligator leather strap with a white gold ardillon buckle set with 23 diamonds.
Diamonds, sapphires and mother-of-pearls are set across the case, dial and crocodile.
Cartier calls this a Crocodile Jewellery watch. The crocodile's eyes are cabochon-cut emeralds totalling 0.05 carats.
A quartz movement drives the sword-shaped hands. The watch is water-resistant to 3 bar (approximately 30 metres).
