The Panthère de Cartier, reference HPI01740, in an 18-carat rose gold case, 38.2 x 15.2 mm and 7.53 mm thick, with a black lacquer dial. Quartz movement, on an 18-carat rose gold bracelet.
Cartier describes its panther jewellery watches as hybrids of watchmaking and jewellery. Here the panther head and the case are 18-carat rose gold, and the eyes are pear-shaped tsavorites.
The nose is buff-top onyx and the spots are black lacquer. The dial is black lacquer, with rose-coloured steel sword-shaped hands, and a quartz movement shows hours and minutes. The crystal is sapphire.
