The Panthère de Cartier in white gold
The Panthère de Cartier, reference HPI01722, in a rhodiumised 18-carat white gold case, 37 x 29 mm and 6 mm thick. Quartz movement, on a rhodiumised 18-carat white gold bracelet set with diamonds.
Cartier dates the design of the Panthère de Cartier watch to the 1980s and says it is named after Cartier's bracelet of the same name. Its very flexible structure, Cartier says, echoes the movements of the panther.
The case and bracelet are set with 415 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 7.80 carats, and a diamond decorates the crown. The hands are blued-steel and sword-shaped, and a quartz movement shows hours and minutes.
