The Baignoire small model in white gold with diamonds
The Cartier Baignoire, reference HPI01701, in a rhodium-finish 18-carat white gold case, 31.4 x 23.1 mm and 7.3 mm thick, with a silvered grained dial. Quartz movement, on a rigid diamond-set bracelet in the same metal.
Cartier says the Baignoire was designed in 1912 and given its name later, and describes its shape as an ellipse forged in a single line. This small model has 211 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 2.69 carats set in the case.
The beaded crown carries one brilliant-cut diamond of 0.08 carats, and the rigid bracelet is set with 436 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 3.26 carats. A quartz movement shows the hours and minutes.
