Cartier describes its panther jewellery watches as hybrids of watchmaking and jewellery, made by a craftsman skilled in gem-setting and spot lacquering. The panther heads are 18-carat rose gold, with pear-shaped tsavorite eyes.
The case is set with 128 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 1.08 carats. The hands are blued-steel and sword-shaped, the crystal is sapphire, and a quartz movement shows hours and minutes.
