A Panthère Crash set with diamonds
The Cartier Panthère Crash, reference HPI01316, in a rhodiumised 18-carat white gold case, 46.3 x 22.6 mm and 8.5 mm thick, with a blue mother-of-pearl dial. Quartz movement, on a diamond-set bracelet in the same metal.
Cartier names this watch the Panthère Crash. The two panther heads are set with 182 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 1.79 carats, with pear-shaped emerald eyes and black lacquer noses.
Diamonds continue across the rest of the piece: 433 on the case, totalling 3.12 carats, and 338 on the bracelet, totalling 9.34 carats. A quartz movement drives rhodiumised steel sword-shaped hands over a blue mother-of-pearl dial.
