The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Luce "Rainbow" Chronograph (Ref. 7968/300R-001) is a groundbreaking timepiece, marking the brand's first self-winding chronograph designed specifically for women and the inaugural chronograph in the Aquanaut Luce collection. 

Crafted in 18k rose gold, the watch features a 39.9 mm case adorned with a double row of baguette-cut gems on the bezel. The inner row comprises 40 flawless Top Wesselton diamonds totaling 2.05 carats, while the outer row showcases 40 multicolored sapphires totaling 2.31 carats, arranged in a captivating rainbow gradient. These gems are meticulously set using the invisible setting technique, highlighting Patek Philippe's exceptional craftsmanship. 

The white mother-of-pearl dial, engraved with the signature Aquanaut pattern, is further enhanced by 12 baguette-cut multicolored sapphire hour markers (0.31 carats) that harmonize with the bezel's vibrant hues. Rose gold applied numerals and luminescent baton-style hands ensure optimal readability. 

At its heart lies the self-winding caliber CH 28-520, renowned for its precision and reliability. This movement features a flyback chronograph function with a central chronograph hand and a 60-minute counter at 6 o'clock. The vertical disc clutch allows the central chronograph hand to function as a continuous seconds hand without compromising movement integrity. The movement offers a power reserve between 50 to 55 hours and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). 

The timepiece is accompanied by three ultra-resistant composite straps in red (originally fitted), matte beige, and matte white, allowing versatility to match various styles. The patented fold-over clasp, set with 10 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 0.36 carats, ensures both security and elegance.
